I have spent my entire life in Nebraska; born in Hastings and raised in Hastings and Alliance. I completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Chadron State College in 1996. I taught Special Education in Litchfield, NE for a year, ran group homes for developmentally disabled children for just over two years. While I worked for Developmental Services of Nebraska, I pursued my Masters in Criminal Justice. From 2000 to 2002 I was a case worker for the Nebraska Department of Justice, and Nebraska Child Protective Services.
I have been in the mortgage industry since 2002. In late 2008 I saw an emerging trend with banks restricting their lending guidelines, thus pushing more and more clients away from being able to borrow funds and the ability to purchase a home.
